Ms. Yashaushwani Bakshi holds double graduation in Applied Psychology and Special Education (Learning Disability) and a postgraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Delhi. She is also a diploma holder in the field of Guidance and Counselling from Jamia Millia Islamia University. She has been in the field for over a decade and in her seven years of work experience, she has worked with prominent schools in Delhi and conducted several workshops & webinars in the field of parenting, career guidance, stress management, teacher's training in psychological disabilities and mental health, resilience, adolescent milestones and many more. Being an educationist at heart, she has worked at the ground root level in devising innovative lesson plans for teaching fraternity and soft skills handbooks for learners and professionals too. Currently, she is also pursuing her PhD in Psychology.
As a part of her training, she has interned at several organizations and hospitals such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), National Institute of Public Corporation and Child Development (NIPCCD), West Delhi Psychiatry Centre, BLK Super Specialty Hospital etc. She has also been involved with various volunteer activities and designed various campaigns & presentations on stress management, character building for students, anger management etc. She aims to construct an integrated approach for holistic development and enhance children’s skill acquisition develop new approaches and improvements for faculty and parents as well. She has ongoing projects and also pursuing certification courses in career counselling, hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming.
On the academic front, she has held the first position for the highest aggregate in annual examinations for psychology at her college level and a silver medalist in her academic years of pursuing special education with a specialization in learning disability. She has also co-authored as well as written several research papers in the areas of well-being of women, empathy and perspective-taking in medical professionals.
In the year 2022, she has also been awarded the "Career ChangeMakers Award" for her progressive work in the domain of psychology, career counselling and mentoring.
